Battle of the Studies (BotS)

This year Thymos organises again the Battle of the Studies, which will be held on Thursday the 24^th of May starting at 19.00h till about 23.30h. The theme of this year will be: It's a kind of magic! So come in your magic outfit and participate in our sportive games. Last year the BotS was a huge success and we hope this year will be even better! Teams from different student associations will battle for the fiercely coveted title of the BotS, which Biologica now holds. During the different matches we'll see who's the best from the 6-to-8-person teams.

DB absent

Because of ascension day the DB will be absent this thursday and friday. On monday the 21st of May we will be back on the office to help you out.

Thymos Gliding Experience

Always wanted to try out gliding in the sky? This is your chance!

At the 5th of June, Thymos will organise a Gliding Experience from 17:00h. Together with an experienced glide instructor you will discover the great blue sky above the area at Deelen.

We will leave with a group of max. 25 persons, so be quick with your subscription.

Triathlontrainingen

SWU Thymos starts in cooperation with Blesrun the triathlon trainings for students and WUR employees.

From Wednesday 9^th May, there will be for 5 weeks long every Wednesday an introduction training in which shall be practised with swimming suit, racing bike and running shoes.

Participation is free of charge. The meeting place is at Sports Centre de Bongerd at 19:00 of which we will leave to the sport centre De Zoom where the trainings will be given. The total training time is around 90 minutes.

Thymos Strong Men Experience

Always dreamed of being one of the strongest students of Wageningen? This is your chance to prove that!

On Tuesday evening at 19:00h Thymos will organize their Strongmen Experience. Participants are challenged both in strength and endurance. The contest will include stones of strength, a loglift, timberwalk, wheelflip and carpull. Hoping on nice weather in May, the Experience is held outside on the field of Sports Centre de Bongerd.

There will be a difference in weight classes, so everyone has a chance to win! Even the women have their own category.

Thymos Waterweekend

During the weekend of the 8th of june till the 10th of june various water sports will be practiced, amongst others sailing and windsurfing. More information will follow as soon as possible, but you can already subscribe here for this weekend.
